All Course List
This report lists all courses approved to be taught for a department. Contact TACS to request a copy.
Crosslisted Course
A course that is offered in two or more departments; crosslisted courses share identical information (number, title, credits, meeting information, etc.) Crosslisting a course or ending a crosslist member(s) requires divisional committee approval
Divisional Committee
The Divisional Executive Committees approve new courses, course changes, and course deletions. Before submitting course proposals to the appropriate divisional committee (Arts and Humanities, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Social Studies) they must be approved first at the department, then at the school/college level. Once those approvals have been obtained, proposals can be submitted for divisional committee review. Refer to UW-Madison Faculty Policies and Procedures, Chapter 4 for more information about the divisional committees. .

Final Call
Final Call is the second period of the timetable building process when timetable reps can access ISIS for a term and update data. It is the last chance to make changes before TACS assigns General Assignment Classrooms. There is no Final Call for summer term build.
GA Classroom
A General Assignment Classroom that TACS controls and assigns.
IADS
Integrated Appointment Data System; Appointments must be entered in IADS before instructors will be available in ISIS.
Initial Call
Initial Call is the first period of the timetable building process when timetable reps can access ISIS for a term and update data.
ISIS

Meets-with Course
A course that meets with another course, usually on an ad-hoc basis; meets-with courses do not necessarily have identical titles, credits, etc., but do share the same meeting time/place and instructor information.
Mini Update Window
The Mini Update Window is a two-day update period after TACS has completed room assignments for General Assignment Classrooms. The timetable rep can review the data and make changes in ISIS during this period.
Modular Course
A course that does not meet the standard 15 weeks of a fall or spring term.< /p>
Page Proof Day
Page Proof Day is the last chance the timetable rep has to make changes before timetable information becomes “live” on the Web. Departments review their course offerings at the TACS office and minor changes can be made at that time (footnotes, honors, etc.).
Room Characteristics
GA classroom features, such as seminar seating, video projection, document camera, etc.
Session Code
Every section has a session code to indicate the weeks of the term that it meets.

Timetable reps may do any or all of the following: collect information for the timetable, decide course offerings (including times, etc.), update the ISIS database, update and monitor enrollment information.
